Hoddern is a two form entry Junior school for children aged 7-11, located in Hoddern Avenue, Peacehaven, East Sussex. The school has an excellent reputation locally which is reflected in its growing pupil numbers with 220 currently on roll.
Its fantastic facilities include a large open plan library, huge hall, indoor and outdoor classroom spaces, two playgrounds, a trim trail, garden areas, large playing fields and both indoor and outdoor stages. The school is fortunate in also having a special facility for children from the local community who have communication difficulties. Hoddern also has a heated swimming pool used by all our pupils and Peacehaven Infant School.
Awards
Hoddern has numerous awards including 'Activemark', 'Artsmark', 'Quality Mark' and 'Healthy Schools' and is currently working towards achieving 'Dyslexia friendly status'. The garden was chosen as 'garden of the year' by the local council in 2010.
