Hoddern is a two form entry Junior School for children aged 7-11, located in Hoddern Avenue, Peacehaven , East Sussex.
The Headteacher is Mr R Evans. There are approximately 200 pupils on roll. The school has fantastic facilities including a large open plan library and hall, indoor and outdoor classroom spaces, two playgrounds, a trim trail, garden areas and large playing fields. It is fortunate in also having a special facility for children from the local community who have communication difficulties. The school also has a heated swimming pool which is used by all classes and Peacehaven Infant School.
The school holds the "Activemark", "Artsmark" and "Healthy Schools" awards and is currently working towards achieving "Quality Mark". Hoddern is a welcoming and happy school that provides a satisfactory and improving education for its pupils. Pupils enjoy school and are rightly proud of its excellent facilities. They talk about their "amazing" school and how "learning journeys" make learning interesting and fun. (Ofsted, October 2009)
